Invasive histiocytosis in the ear of a dog: case report

The present work aimed at reporting the case of a seven-year-old canine patient Jack Russel breed presenting an ulcerated nodule in ear, diagnosed by histopathology and immunohistochemistry as cutaneous histiocytoma. A surgical conchectomy was performed, later on evolved with increase volume cervical region. underwent tomography scan, which showed that unique had no vascular involvement. Because this, new approach required, sent for histopathology, confirmed Histiocytoma invasion lymph node. Approximately four months after last procedure, presented growth several nodules throughout body, exhibiting different clinical manifestation this second moment, compatible Langerhans Histiocytosis, being prognosis more unfavorable.
